Application of MOORA & COPRAS integrated with entropy method for multi-criteria decision making in dry turning process of Nimonic C263

This article presents an integrated multi-criteria decision making using Entropy, MOORA and COPRAS methods for turning Nimonic C263. Experiments were performed under L27 Taguchi orthogonal array. Dry was cubic boron nitride (CBN) used to turn the alloy. The variables speed, feed depth of cut chosen as factors. For each experiment, shear force component measured during on line. insert flank wear after every experiment. main objective this paper is identify suitable trial ensure minimum simultaneously. Because cost reduction quality improvement, controlling factors level should be selected appropriately. Hence, MCDM technique MOORA, Entropy determine best experiment out 27 experiments. Alternatives ranked results evaluated. minimization found 125 m/min, 0.055 mm/rev 0.25 mm. experimental test observed with lesser deviation confirmed that proposal more obtain wear.
